Wordpress SEO ~ permalinks

The first and easiest thing to sort out are the permalinks (the fully stated URL) that Wordpress creates to access each of your posts. The default is useless:

http://www.bochgoch.com/?p=123

…but happily Wordpress will give us all we really need. Simply access your Permalink Structure (Options | Permalinks) from your admin dashboard and either enter a Custom structure of:

/%postname%/

…if you intend to keep post names unique, or if a little more cautious select the Date and name based option.

Press Update Permalink Structure to save.

Done!
